He was brought to us after being removed from a neglectful situation and, after spending months in the care of the county, was finally able to start fresh at the shelter. While he may prefer not to share space with other roosters, he has been calm and docile with staff and has shown a gentle side in his daily interactions. After more than a year at the shelter, he's more than ready for a home where he can stretch his wings and enjoy life on a spacious property. He may do well in a home with hens, where he can settle into a more natural routine. He's a resilient boy with a lot to offer and is ready for his second chance.
