ADOPTION FEES ARE SPONSORED!!! Peanut is a sweet Chihuahua mix who was surrendered due to unforeseen housing circumstances. He previously lived with two other small dogs and is used to sharing his world with canine companions. The shelter environment has been a little overwhelming for him, and he's shown some anxiety here, but we're hopeful that in a calm home setting he'll be able to truly relax and settle in. Peanut is very loving with his people and especially enjoys being held and carried around by someone he trusts - he's happiest cuddled up close. Because he does show some resource guarding with toys, we recommend an adult-only home or one without small children. With patience, understanding, and a consistent routine, Peanut will make a deeply devoted little companion.
